I recently ran across a very good article on Gadopentetate, the radiocontrast agent used
for MRI scans. This one actually finds less than 0.04% of the administered dose enters
milk, and less than 0.8% is actually absorbed via the gut.
Its a great article suggesting that the 24 hour interruption may not be necessary at all
and that 12 hours is probably just fine.
All LCs should copy this article and the editoral(web) for your files.
