If I am remembering correctly, the original homemade vs store bought cookie analogy went a step further, in that the speaker, arbitrarily handed the cookies out, giving one person a homemade the next a store bought.
The points made were not only that those with the store bought cookies, felt "cheated" and looked with envy at the homemade cookies - but how arbitrarily and with a cavalier attitude the decision to provide human milk or formula is made.
I think this analogy was mentioned here during World Breastfeeding Week and should be in the archives.
