I did work with a mom pumping for her baby in nicu -- she didn't want to take
the nipple ring out until she had to (once the baby was ready to nurse), so I
had her cleanse the ring with an alcohol wipe prior to each pumping. The way
the breast cone hit, the ring was flipped back to where the milk really
didn't drip all over it. I really am interested to hear other responses to
your post though, to see what others do or would do in a similar situation.
