I have been having a great deal of difficulty lately with our staff causing
an aversion to breast feeding in the baby. If the baby doesn't vigorously
nurse q3h, the staff seems to make it their personal challenge. They will
force the infant to the breast and in the long run cause a complete aversion.
Last week I had one mother who wouldn't even try anymore. She planned on
pumping and then bottlefeeding the expressed milk. I suggested to her to wait
until she got home and try a calm rebirthing. Any suggestions I can use with
the staff? Why can't patience be a virtue?
