Gretchen, I tandem nursed for three years, and while I would never plan to do
it on purpose, (the competition was fierce, and one never nursed without the
other one being there, unless one was out of town with her dad for a few
days). I would alway choose to tandem if my older baby wasn't finished
nursing when a new baby came.  Part of me can't believe that anyone taking an
IBCLC exam would react with disrespect to the slide,or especially to you
personally.  The other part of me sees women coming from this culture, where
nursing ends in the first few months of infancy.  You have lots of support
