I have been asked to pose this question to the list - How often do hospital
folks offer postpartum support groups? These classes are for families
after-discharge from the hospital. Another issue - do dads attend the class
and do they have any effect on women nursing during the group if babies are
hungry. We seem to have a really shy population. They will only breastfeed
in front of father of baby and not even their own moms. We doubt that they
will nurse in front of strangers. Curtains are drawn in their rooms. All
suggestions welcome. Thanks
