Aloha Betsy,
We had a bout of the pinworms a few years ago. My four year old was a
toddler at the time---not yet 2. Our ped. prescribed vermox for her. It was
a bit difficult getting it into her, but we managed. I also took it as well
and continued to nurse.
The post to Dr. Hale that Pat Gima pulled up for you concerned a mom I was
helping who had a baby about 4 or 5 months old. Mom went ahead and took
vermox and continued to nurse with no side effects.
You might want to check out herbal remedies as well. A friend of mine told
me that cabbage had antiparasitic properties.
Hope this helps.
Aloha,
