I am organizing a trip to Capitol Hill during the upcoming ILCA Conference
for US citizens attending the conference to meet with their US Congressional
delegations.  These meetings are designed for breastfeeding advocates to
educate their Representatives and/or Senators about the
breastfeeding-related bills introduced by Rep. Carolyn Maloney into the US
House.  We will have a briefing session during the conference to help
participants prepare for the meetings, then help get folks down to the Hill
via the Metro.

If you are interested in supporting the legislation, but aren't going to the

line "legislative update."  Senators and Representatives are on "August
Recess" starting 8/1, so you could visit them in their district offices, too
(what a good thing to do for World Breastfeeding Week!!!)
