Yep, you can do it. I have always nursed while my husband drove by sitting
in the backseat--buckled--leaning over the carseat and nursing. Is it comfy.
NOPE . I sat in the middle with the twins and leaned to one and then the
other. Grant you, I do not think I would do this while driving myself. Just
thought you should know it was possible. However, as many moms tell me they
pump a bottle to prop if the baby wakes up, I warn it could be dangerous.
Imagine baby in back seat with propped bottle begins to choke--what do you
do? Of course, the same is true if you are nursing I suppose, but then you
are right there and the driver can pull over.
