Diana Dwyer,MS,RD,CNSD is a registered dietitian who had childhood cancer, then had 2 episodes of breast cancer. Although she improved her diet after the first episode of breast cancer, she decided to do some major research on diet and cancer after the second breast cancer. Her book contains a distillation of that work, into practical changes to make in diet and lifestyle. She tells how it can be integrated into a typical life--complete with grocery lists, eating out tips, and resources for support in all aspects of the changes recommended.
She uses herbs, and has specific rec. based on what little info is available. She does not claim a cure-all but believes you have some control when truly approaching insults to the body in a comprehensive (wholistic) manner. Check out her website at www.dianadyermsrd.com or

I think herbs are certainly as powerful as many drugs, and they also have side effects, so caution and knowledge are important! Michelle Scott, MA,RD,IBCLC in sunny NH
