<< I can now feel downright dirty and biologically unclean >>
i would never wish to offend magda and want to apologize publically - by
mentioning that i meant no personal aspersions. i can't donate blood either,
because i also have an autoimmune disease - according to my blood (hey, i am
perfectly happy to have "tell tale blood" but no arthritis symptoms). the
"mad cow disease" thing is not something you chose personally. just another
series of poorly informed health decisions made by politicians and people
concerned with profits made from cows - hey! that must be why formula feeding
is so terrific!

ps i would also point out that i was a LLLL for quite a while (several people
seemed to take my remarks about not being to "dis" formula as meaning that i
didn't know anything about LLL. like chris, i felt that these restrictions
were fatuous and overly conservative, and became a professional. (i mean, i
became a professional, as chris did - not that she might have the same
opinion as expressed above).
