Kirsten, I'm having trouble understanding why you would feel that an RN is
needed to help at your breastfeeding clinic but that an IBCLC is not
absolutely necessary.

I would also point out, based on your applicant qualifications, that very
knowledgeable and talented IBCLCs like Barbara Wilson-Clay, Kay Hoover,
Chele Marmet, Catherine Watson Genna, Alison Hazelbaker, Maureen Minchin,
Diane Wiessinger, etc. would not be deemed qualified for this position.

You should require that the person that you hire be an IBCLC, and make the
RN part optional.
