I'm nervously typing my first post to this forum as I am very aware that I
am a true novice in comparison to most of the other posters on this list.
I am an antenatal teacher (childbirth educator) in the south of England (UK
not New!), training to be a breastfeeding counsellor, both with the
National Childbirth Trust (NCT).
We were discussing inability to breastfeed at a recent tutorial and my
tutor's thought on the %ge of women who cannot breastfeed was that a more
accurate figure might be obtained by looking at countries where
breastfeeding is the norm, like Norway? In the NCT we tend to quote 2% as
being the physiologically unable to feed figure.
