parent handout -- esp. one where you are trying to stay within a certain
literacy level? I am playing with: "make a dirty diaper" , "produce a
messy diaper", "have dirty diapers", etc. Is what you would call this
going to vary regionally? Please post to me privately as this may unduly

Barbara,
I am not against private posts, but this is certainly something I as well as
others might be interested in...
Just off the top of my head, I would say I normally use "Bowel Movement" or
"stool", simply because I feel weird about calling a natural body function
"Dirty" or "Soiled", but that's just me... of course my mother is a nurse, so
that may have something to do with feeling comfy with clinical BM
terminology....:)
