This may have been confused with HELLP syndrome, in which the acronym stands
for hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes and low platelets.  It's not a
contraindication to breastfeeding.  I assisted a mom this past weekend with
HELLP to breastfeed her premature twins.  So yes, it is possible.
