Wende,
Could it be a pinched nerve radiating pain to her breast that only is
compressed when lying down to sleep? Maybe a chiropractic adjustment,
massage, cranial sacral work, etc.? Just a thought.

Subject: nocturnal breast discomfort
This is the first time I have asked a question of Lactneters.
I saw a sixteen weeker at the Midwive's Clinic.
G2 P1.
Breastfed first child for 21 months.
Has normal pregnancy breast changes.
She complains of burning sensation in right breast - and this is the
bit which has me stumped - ONLY at night.
There are no lumps, bumps or anything untoward to see or feel.
I rang our two local LCs. (both IBCLC, 1 a midwife, the other a GP), who
are stumped by the 'only at night' bit.
Any suggestions please, as mum-to-be is concerned.
Wende in South Oz.
