I do not understand the point of "pump and dump". If the mom ate something
that has caused the hives, her system will clear and they will go away.
Strawberries sound reasonable to me, especially as they are the heaviest
sprayed of all fruits, so are quite toxic (assuming not organic, even then
*can* be allergenic). I would not see a reason to eliminate other foods
unless this recurred w/o strawberries.
*But*, the dangers of ABM do not clear from the system *ever*. So, of
course, the reasonable and safe thing to do is breastfeed.
