And when I sent the advert for the ingredient to my local trading standards
committee -- the statutory place to take such a complaint under the UK Law
on Baby Milks, it was initially taken up, then dismissed. There is NO
REDRESS and the law in the UK, while looking fair-to-middling (see the
rating given in the latest WABA folder) is not really working.
How can you advertise an ingredient which only appears in one product and
claim it is not breaking a law which says you cannot advertise that product?
Sheesh.
