I am working on a project and need to invite comment. Casually, I refer to
an infant bowel movement as a poopy diaper. In print, in a formal paper, I
would use a term like stool or bowel movement. What would you suggest in a
parent handout -- esp. one where you are trying to stay within a certain
literacy level? I am playing with: "make a dirty diaper" , "produce a
messy diaper", "have dirty diapers", etc. Is what you would call this
going to vary regionally? Please post to me privately as this may unduly
clutter up the list:)
