I think this is an unfair generalization.  Boston is no worse (or better)
than any other city.  Yes, we have our share of intellectual postureres,
people who go to concerts to be seen rather than to hear, etc., but you
have to admit, if you like art of almost any form, Boston is not a bad
place to live...
