If you're looking for goofy stories, you must get a slim little book by
Linda Smith and Kay Wiggins. It's called Absurd Advice (2nd ed.) and the
*real* advice that they collected and printed was hilarious! I'd imagine
that this is available on Linda's web site at http://www.bflrc.com or by
phone.
I've heard/read/seen some clinkers, but nothing compared with these stories!
>In 1980 my dd was born, 9lbs 14oz. At 3 weeks I brought her to my
>pediatrician who weighed my daughter in at 10lbs 10oz. She then proceded
>to tell me that my breast milk must be "too rich" and that my daughter
>was going to get fat if I continued to exclusively breast feed and that
>maybe by her next checkup she would have to be "put on a diet"!! At 7
>weeks my dd weighed 13lbs 9oz and I was told to add rice cereal,
>applesauce and the occasional bottle of abm to help "cut down on
>calories"!!
