Hello, Lactnetters!
It has been a long while since I have been able to communicate with you. I
am offering you an opportunity to make a recommendation (or more than one,
if you wish).
Current Issues in Clinical Lactation (an annual journal I am now editing) is
interested in providing in each issue information about at least two
different lactation programs for the edification of readers who may be
interested in developing such a program, or beginning such a practice.
In CICL 2000, we highlighted a hospital-based LC practice managed by a
non-MD/non-RN LC with several other LCs working with her, AND a physician
practice specializing in lactation.
This is your opportunity to recommend that we consider a practice you know
about that we do not! Is it run by an LC? a private practice? a
hospital-based program? A clinic-based program? Whatever it is, please let
me know.
I need the following information:
a) where it is located (complete postal address, please)
b) whom to contact who can tell us about it
c) how long it has been in existence
I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks in advance. If you prefer
to chat directly with me (ear to ear, that is), feel free to call me (in the
evenings only, please) at 360-384-1755; I am on PACIFIC time (3 hours
EARLIER than the east coast). Thanks.
Kathleen G. Auerbach, PhD, IBCLC
