Hi all,
I'm new to LN, and would very much appreciate some information. A
pediatrician friend of mine was not at all convinced when I informed him
that babies should be exclusively breastfed for at least 6 mos. or more and
that introduction of solids should not really start at 4 mos. of age which
is usually recommended. Am I right in saying that? He wants to have
documentation and researches done. Can anyone please site me some
references whereby it states that an infant can actually breastfeed
exclusively for 6 mos or more without being iron depleted, malnourished, etc?
Thanks so much and would appreciate all information given.
