Well, I'll be!  Am I the last person on the planet to know about this?
Did anybody else know that Medela offers a foot pedal which can be used
to manually (er, pedally) drive their breastpumps?  The tubing and
flanges connect directly to the foot pedal, and that is all you need
(no electricity, etc.)

Does anybody out there have any experience with this?  How effective
is it?  (My guess would be that it would be somewhere above
a manual pump, although not nearly so as an electric motor).
