But is there really anyone who doesn't know that? I mean look how many
women are told (literally) they must wean to take tylenol, or how many
women think they can't even have one single beer because their 2 yr old
nurses twice a day (I'm not kidding on that, on a poll on a web site's
*extended* nursing board "What will you do first when your child weans"
there were so many "Have a beer finally!" or "Go back to DIET coke!"
responses I was shocked). At a LLL meeting last week a long time member on
her second baby was horrified to find out someone was taking bactrim of all
things and said she won't even drink caffinated tea. I have a hard time
believing in a culture (North American) which tells women to wean for hair
dye and amoxicillan that people don't realize you can't do drugs and
breastfeed.
