I agree with Laurie about this book/planner. My first reaction was overkill.
I hate it when a mom comes in for help and has her daytimer in hand with
all feeds, poops, burps, yawns, streches, and various other noises recorded
and organized. Moms do need to keep track of wets and dirtys for the first
few days to insure good intake, but 6 weeks? I tell all of my moms that if
baby is pooping and peeing the recommended amt, and growing, that they are
doing everything right! Moms love to hear this. Try saying it to a new mom "Y
ou are doing everything right!" Watch her face light up!! On the other hand
some moms like to keep records like this, I am ashamed of my performance in
the baby book department. I am afraid I am going to be one of those little
old ladies with numerous shoe boxes full of memorabilia. I will have the
shoe boxes and the stains on the walls!! I wish the author all the best with
the sale of her book!
