Doctors give advice, not commandments. The mothers have the right to take
PTU and continue breastfeeding. The pediatrician cannot insist and neither
can the endocrinologist.

There is lots of evidence that PTU is safe during lactation including the
American Academy's committee on drugs. There is lots of evidence that
artificial feeding is not safe.

What's wrong with these doctors?
