Hello Wise Ones,
I am re-posting my question about the appropriate dressing for a breast
abscess that is draining milk , I had no responses and REALLY need some
information. Actually I'm posting for a LC whose ISP is down and cant write
to you herself.
The confusion I believe is the two Dr's overseeing this moms care are giving
different advice as to what to put on the abscess and how often to change
it. Apparently, it is VERY painful to change the longer it is on the mom.
Anyone w/ suggestions, if you would please post to me privately..it would be
greatly appreciated Would it be possible to not apply anything on it?
Thank you in advance!
Final note, the surgeon wants her to pump and dump any ideas??
Warmly,
Mary Anderson, Doula
Lincoln, Nebraska
