 i would point out that IBCLCs are not licensed or regulated by my state,
therefore, i interpret my scope of practice in terms of broader standards.
sadly, having read the new standards of practice last weekend, i am not sure
they are written for me, either (they sound like nursing standards - hey! i'm
*still* not a nurse!).

how the use of these techniques would fit in for nurses, i don't know.
massage therapists apparently have strict regulations in various places as to
what they can do or touch (in terms of body parts).
