I agree with Johanna. This should not be a breastfeeding issue,
although this is how it will be argued in court because Idaho law
excuses breastfeeding mothers. Breastfeeding has actually allowed Siri
to avoid previous calls to jury duty, but it seems that the jury
commissioner believes it is no longer a valid excuse. It should simply
be enough to say that one has children to care for to be excused. It
would be a tremendous hardship for a family, not to mention young
children, to suddenly be without their primary caregiver, especially if
a trial drags on or cloistering is necessary.
