Alice asks: "Why-oh-why is that image (a baby botlle: mark the name for the subject! gvv) so indelibly linked to babies?"
That is so, I think, because several generations of babies were almost exclusively bottle fed, so bootle feeding seems to be the normal thing to do.
I'm preparinmg a study on influences to the baby feeding choice and influences on the duration of breastfeeding. Fitst part of it is an overview of the imaging of baby's, baby foods and women's breast in books, media and public area's. I'd love to receive as many as possible items to include, like pictures, fotocopies, stories (like Alice's). etc. I hope to come to a better insight of why mothers do not choose for the best for their baby and why they stop breastfeeding prematurely.
