A mother came to my office a few minutes after bottle feeding her 2 week
old with a cow's milk based formula. The poor kid spit up - all over
me, the mother and the floor. I moped up and put the floor rag in the
bin to be washed later. Well, I forgot about it and that evening I
noticed the dog sniffing around the laundry room. I opened the door and
thought something had died and forgot to go to heaven. Have any of you
experienced the smell of baby (formula) spit up?! WHOA! Now I know why
I breastfed.
