A quirky question here, but does anyone have any idea if growth hormones
fed to cows or chickens, then eaten by lactating mothers would pass into
the milk. If this does happen I'm wondering what affect that might have on
the child.

On another related tact. If I remember rightly, the Australian section of
the WHO study on lactational infertility found that the time between birth
and resumption of menses was influenced by the number of chicken servings
the woman had a week? Now I know that chickens in Australia are no lnger
fed growth hormones but they are bred to naturally produce increased
amounts of growth hormone so they grow more quickly themselves. Might this
also affect the growth of children?
