Hi Listmates,
I am trying to write up guidelines on when a new mom should pump (if the
baby will NOT go to breast at all or is very uninterested). I want to make
sure these mom's hormones are being stimulated in the absence of nursing. Do
any of you follow any particular protocol about this or do you just wing it?
I am not having any trouble getting my peers to support me on this, but we
are going to be rewriting our breastfeeding policies and I want to include
this. Please e-mail me privately so as not to clog up this board. Thanks in
advance.
