Two points. There is some information on this drug in Hale. It suggests
that it could be safe, but yes, no definite information. If it had to be
this drug, why not treat and do milk and blood levels in the mother and even
the baby? So we will have some information? If the baby's blood levels rise
too quickly, the drug can be stopped.

Which brings me to the second point. Why *this* drug? When there are easily
2,342,432 other drugs which can treat hypertension?

When will physicians *ever* get it right?

Jack Newman, MD, FRCPC
