I am not sure I am for this law as is - because I would like for ALL moms
whose babies are not used to going to a sitter to be excused from jury
duty. Breastfeeding should be protected, but mother-baby togetherness
should be primary.
If a mom works and baby normally goes to a sitter, they should allow
pumping breaks for breastfeeding moms during jury duty just like at work.
If a mom is at home, and baby is never at a sitter, whether she breastfeeds
or not, she should not be forced to leave her baby.
Is this too argumentative?
