The white spot on nipple ?- are you referring to a "bleb"? During my work as
a hopital LC. we had a number of women complain of this...especially if
recurring despite use of heat, massage, attempt to vigorously, manually
"abrade" off, we would refer them to their OB for a needle excision of the
spot. I know Dr. Jack has referred to this in a number of his lectures and (I
think) claims it to be quick and relatively pain free! Of interest pertaining
to this, i did consult with a woman at home who had a "bleb" with an
obviously clogged duct immediately superior to it, she removed the white area
with abrasion but it then required more than 20 minutes of active, vigorous,
deep massage on my part while she pumped before she pumped out aprrox. 1 tbl.
of "toothpaste" consistency material , the duct was cleared and never gave
her anymore trouble!
