Carol moans parenthetically,
<< (oh, but don't ask what i think about these purported "breastfeeding
rates" either!) >>
Oh, don't I hear you! The idea that in the United States our only
ostensibly reliable source of annual data on how many babies are bf comes
from the Ross Labs Mother Survey makes me nuts!
Somebody should persuade the Gates Foundation, which has a concentration in
public health, that US public health could be improved by pitching a couple
of million dollars a year into taking at least **knowledge about bf** out of
the hands of a formula marketer. Anybody out there working in the Seattle
area and want to take this on as a worthy project?
Elisheva Urbas
you make the connection, I'll help write the grant proposal!
