The wet nursing comments reminded me that recently, while doing rounds,
I visited a lovely couple who had not lived in the USA too long. Mom
and baby were having some difficulty with bf. The husband very
seriously asked me for a recommendation for a wet nurse. I gently
explained that we don't do that in Coral Springs, FL. Then, out of my
own deep curiosity, tactfully asked him about the wet nursing practices
where he came from. He explained, among other things, that it was
scientifically proven that the baby would take on some of the wet
nurse's characteristics. I said that I supposed he would want to get a
very nice person to be the wet nurse, and he concurred.

Looking forward to your all coming back for the conference
