these people are trained in bottlefeeding. they don't know zip about
breastfeeding; for them, the "normal" is bottlefeeding. so, of course they
want to know what kind of bottle nipple (pacifier) to give the baby when it
can't have the "real thing" (the bottle). unless these pacifiers are being
used for THERAPEUTIC reasons (really, not just keeping the babies quiet),
then there IS NO PREFERRED PACIFIER and you have to start with that position.
especially if you are IBCLC.
