Anne: I think the problem you are having stems from your search word
co-bathing. I posted on this earlier this week saying that I avoid the use
of some terms, but these terms may get you more results: re-birthing, water
therapy, attachment parenting (with a sub-search of items such as family bed
and family baths). We actually have a double sized bath tub that all 5 of
us (ages 37, 37, and our boys ages 10, 5, and 2) can fit in. It's
definitely not for everyone, but our family is relatively relaxed about
nudity and our kids don't view breasts as sexual objects. When things start
to come unglued in our house, I suggest a hot bath with lavendar oil,
candles and music. It all started when the eldest was a colic riddled
newborn. I recommend this method often with new parents who are having
bonding, hypertonia, birth trauma or other issues which negatively impact
breastfeeding. There have been 2 cases in 10 years where this hasn't helped
AT ALL--in both cases I suspect sexual abuse in the mother's childhood made
being undressed for long periods very uncomfortable.
