I want to join Andrea Morgan in congratulating Jeanne Mitchell on her
appointment as Program Director for the MMBA.  Jeanne not only brings
expertise and experience to the milk bank, but compassion and years of
committment to mothers and babies.  She is also one of the original group of
founders of the Mothers Milk Bank at Austin, so her sense of the history of
the bank will also serve the project well.

For all those who wonder if going for IBCLC certification is worth it, the
Board of Directors debated about the credentials we were looking for during
our search for a new Program Director, and it was decided that RN was
important and probably necessary, but IBCLC was required.
