I have a client who was diagnosed with acute leukemia when she was in her
second trimester. She delivered her baby prematurely and will soon have to
recommence chemotherapy. I am looking for information about
chemotherapeutic drugs and how long they will stay in her system. Are there
any agents that are less harmful? She is very aware she must pump and
discard her milk while she is undergoing chemotherapy, but wants to know if
or when she will be able to recommence breastfeeding. She is very keen on
breastfeeding or at least being able to give her baby her expressed breast
milk. She is currently pumping large amounts of milk to build up a
stockpile. Anyone??

TIA!

From today snowy Prince George, where spring comes and goes. Wasn't the
lunar eclipse spectacular last night?? It sure makes you realize how small
you really are and how wonderful the universe is.
