Hello,

Well for those who do not know me, I am president of an french association
dedicated to breastfeeding twins and + , I am counceling in breastfeeding
and trainee to become lactation consultant;

Regularly I train/"teach" medicals about breastfeeding, and from now, I am
preparing another training about my favorite subject of course;

So I am trying to collect the rates of twins breastfeeding if they exist,
from as much countries as possible, I do not know if you have such rates, it
could be national rates or local studies (which can be interessant too). If
you had the percentage of breastfed twins versus the total of twins or
versus non-breastfed twins. Or maybe the percentage of futur mothers who
want to breastfeed and the one who really breastfeed. or the rate of
breastfed twins versus total breastfed children...

It is to have an idea of the "foreign" situation ; but also to SHOW and
illustrate that we have a large problem in France.

It is really hard to breastfeed 1 child in France, and much much much much
more to breastfeed 2 children; it is not because of the will of the mothers
(thus marketing pressure make people believe the formula equals breastmilk)
but it is a medical and social lack of knowledge. "breastfeeding one child,
oh it is so hard .. so imagine with 2 .... you cannot have milk enough"

(Well I will stop about French breastfeeding culture, I could come back on
the subject on another day!!)

So well, if you have some rates to share with me... you are welcome;

 Breast regards,
