I saw the link to the TV show here on Lactnet.... what a few weeks we have
had!!
Of course we are aggressive - out there ripping bottles out of mother's
hands, forcing them to breastfeed.... fining them for using formula.....
tongue firmly in my cheek as I write!

We did write lots of letters,  to  our local city council, our local
district health board, the ministry of health, the organiser etc etc and
asked exhibitors to consider not attending the Wyeth sponsored event. To cut
a long story short, Wyeth (which of course was only going to be displaying
HRT and cough and cold remedies... yeah, right) pulled their stall, but not
naming rights etc.

A long weary battle - Alison, an OBGYN, IBCLC and mother of 4, did a
sterling job of presenting her viewpoint. 
At least we are hopeful to keep the formula companies at bay for a bit
longer.. we are learning from the example of the issues from North America.
