Peppermint has a reputation for slowing down milk production.
It's something to ask about along with all the other potential unintended
supply reducers.
And with Altoids, like chips, you can't just eat one.
People tend to munch on them by the tin-full!
Check with an herbalist or homeopath for more info.

(No, this is not a slam on a brand name. This version of peppermint is
highly concentrated.
Any form of peppermint, when over-consumed, can have the same effect. And
over-consumption
depends on the consumer's individual tolerance.)

It's something to suggest when a mother is overproducing, or for some
reason needs to reduce production comfortably.
Use it along with reduced stimulation, reduced milk removal, cabbage, sage,
etc.
