I've helped several mothers relactate, and they all have been successful at
bringing in a full supply.  Of the moms who got full supplies in, the
shortest mom wasn't nursing or pumping was 4 weeks and the longest was 4
months.  One mom hadn't nursed for a year and still got a 50% supply of
toddlers intake with pumping only (this toddler never would latch).  The
fastest road I've found with success, if baby is with mom, is to do all
feedings with an SNS every 1 - 2 hours, eliminate pacifier if one is being
used, and when milk begins to come in, decrease the ABM daily by an ounce per
feeding while watching wettings.  Some moms require galactagogues and some
don't.
