I have a mom with a 9 wk. old who had surgery yesterday for removal of
gallbladder.  Today before she was discharged she had a shot of
demerol/meperidine in her rear.  Hale '97 says the half life of the
metabolite is longer than the half life of meperidine itself  (in adults,
3.2 hours ).  So how long should this mom pump and dump?
