Yes, I've noticed the "fluid shift" after delivery which I've seen in women
who have been induced.  No studies, to my knowledge, but definitely a
groundswell of clinical observation out there.  Also, until the swelling in
the ankles (and meaty nipples) diminishes, you don't see much in the way of
milk.  I think it is exacerbated by epidurals, but can't really separate the
two any more as most moms who are induced also have an epidural.
