Diane,

The little nipple shield is better from the baby's point of view, but mummy
needs terribly teeny nipples to comfortably fit into it.  So, I have to be
careful.  The problem is if you have a baby with a teeny mouth & mummy with a
greater diameter nipple.

Sigh.  If only everyone fit together anatomically without intervention.....
